Coaches
"People don’t
swim because it's fun. Ask any swimmer, most of them hate it, but couldn’t
imagine life without it. It’s a part of them, the love/hate relationships,
what they live for. They live for the practices, parties, cheers, long bus
rides, meets, the countless pairs of goggles, water, Gatorade and the coaches
you hate but appreciate. THE COACHES YOU HATE BUT APPRECIATE. They live for the
way it feels when you beat the other team by a few points, and you know those
two extra sprints you swam in practice were worth it. They live for their way to
become a family with your team, they live for the countless songs you sing in
your head while you are swimming all those laps. They live for the competition;
they live for the friends, the practices, the memories, and the pain. It’s who
they are. It’s who we are... Swimmers!"

Linsi is returning to NHCP for her 3rd season with the Silver Team.
Before coaching, she was a competitive swimmer for almost 15 years.
During that time, she competed for MGC Swim Club, Osseo Senior High, and
Hamline University. She believes that in order to get the best
results from each swimmer, you need to make practices fun, but
still challenging at the same time. She really enjoys working
for NHCP because it gives her a chance to stay connected to the sport
she has enjoyed all her life. “Watching a swimmer complete
a challenging set in practice or have a successful race in a meet makes
all of the hours we spend at the pool worthwhile!” |
